*Gingershine threw herself at the dogs snapping jaws. The dog throatmanaged to grab her by the throat. Covered in blood the dog thre down Gingershine and sniffed her body. After it was sure the she-cat could attack him he started for Cresant, the body of Crookedstripe, and Yellowtail. Gingershine layed there, whith a smile on her face, in a pool of her own blood. Here I come Crookedstripe. I still hope you remeber me.*

And no, I didn't make Stormgaze for Gingershine, I just felt like making a womanizer-figure. xD)

*Crescent hissed and spat at the approaching dog.
Yellowtail rose on his hind legs and leaped at the dog again, though he was very tired. He pummeled the dog's face with his hind legs and bit into its neck, sending it running away again.
Crescent ran over to Gingershine and prodded her. "Oh no, oh no!" he yowled, noticing her eyes slowly closing. "That cursed dog! Look what it did to Shadowclan! Oh, how terrible!! Poor Gingershine..."
Yellowtail let out a yowl of anger. He wondered how Starclan could have allowed this. He scrambled back to Crookedstripe's body, and pulled him closer to Gingershine's. "Shadowclan lost two brave warriors..."
"Elder, you mean?" asked Crescent. "Crookedstripe--" But he was interrupted.
"Crookedstripe deserved more than anything to be a warrior," Yellowtail murmured, and laid down beside their bodies. "Crescent... go get the other cats and tell them what has happened."
With that, Crescent bolted off to where Swiftstar and the others were.
"Swiftstar!" he growled, finally approaching the cat, "Crookedstripe and Gingershine have been killed." he announced, the wound in his neck a menacing reminder of the battle.*

*Gingershie purred a slight purr as she was pulled twords Crookedstipe. Deciding to let go she died.*

Fernleaf ran out of the warriors' den and over to Gingershine's dead body. She buried her nose into her clan-mate's fur and sighed. What a useful warrior gone to waste. Why had she sacrificed herself like that? For love? Love wasn't the only thing, and neither was happiness, no matter how happy you wanted to me. She swept the thoughts the back of her mind and focused on her friend. At least she would be happy in StarClan with Crookedstripe now.

Pineneedle stalked though the camp in the shadows. Tall pine trees cast shade over the clearing. His white pelt stuck out in the darkness though and he hissed and gave up on trying to hide. He walked over to Crookedstripe's dead body and sat down. He had been friends with the tom, even grew up with him, but they hadn't talked to each other since he retreated into the elders' den. He gave a quiet grunt. I guess he's better off in StarClan, where he's happier and doesn't have to be considered as old, he thought miserably.

((Whoa, guys the dogs ran away long time ago! O.o They're even treating the injured now x3))

Swiftstar perked his ears and shrugged, knowing too well it was a dark day for all cats. He nodded briefly. "Please bring the dead back to camp. We will hold a vigil for them at night, once we've treated all our injured." he tells the warriors, then turn back at Shadowfeather. "Any chance we can carry her back to camp? It's safer for everyone there, and you will have all your supplies." he says, awaiting her reply.

Shadowfeather nodded, "It should be okay to carry her, but it's best if she doesn't try to walk on her own." She padded over to Sootpaw and gives her head a swift lick, "We're going to get you back to camp. Tell us if we hurt you, okay?" Shadowfeather meowed to Sootpaw.

*Palepaw padded over to Shadowfeather and meowed," Can I help carry Sootpaw into camp or do you want me to go ahead?" Palepaw wondered how the dogs got to Shadowclan territory. They caused so much pain in Shadowclan. Why couldn't they have gone to another clan? If they would have Sootpaw would be okay.*

"Sure that'd be okay," Shadowfeather meowed and picked up Sootpaw's chest and placed it over her back. She understood what Palepaw must be feeling and sighed.

*"Thanks," mumbled Palepaw as she picked up freinds rear and tossed it over her back. Sootpaw's fur blocked her vision as she followed Shadefeather through Shadowclan territory. Outside of the camp Palepaw tripped on a large root and landed face first in the dirt. " Ow! Are you okay Sootpaw?" asked Palepaw as put Sootpaw's rear back on top of her.*

Swiftstar nods to Shadowfeather, and glances at Palepaw's question. He shrugs, sort of thinking that the apprentice would be too small to carry Sootpaw by herself. He doesn't say anything about it though, but makes sure that Sootpaw is alright with the weight. He nodded towards Crescent and Yellowtail, as if telling them that they should carry on the operation he had told them to do. He followed Shadowfeather and Palepaw carrying Sootpaw, and his heart lurched as Palepaw stumbled. He immediatly helped her back to her paws, and made sure that Sootpaw was comfortable.

Shadowfeather stopped immediately as Palepaw fell. "Are you both okay?" She meowed and kept Sootpaw from falling off her.

*Palepaw mumbled," Thanks Silentstar. I'm okay. I-is Crookedstripe and Gingershine d-dead?" Palepaw glanced at the still bodies of the two warriors. Palepaw continued tacking Sootpaw into camp. *

*Crescent flinched at the lack of emotion Swiftstar seemed to express. But he shrugged it off. He ran back out of camp to where Yellowtail was. "Swiftstar said to carry them back to camp," he meowed, leaving out the fact that the leader had been so normal about it. It bothered him. Yellowtail slowly rose his head and nodded. "Do cats die like this usually?" Crescent asked, lifting Gingershine's body onto his shoulders.

Yellowtail shook his head, his eyes never leaving Crookedstripe's mottled pelt. "No," he replied simply, and after taking a deep breath, he added, "Not normally.... but cats do die.. sometimes..." he skillfully put Crookedstripe on his back and the two cats left to the camp.

Jade knelt next to the bodies of the deceased, though she hardly had to kneel. She sniffed their familiar mingled scents and let out a mrrow of grief. "May Starclan light your paths," she murmured to their bodies. Then she looked up. Skyseer was sitting a little ways away, a faraway look on her face. She felt particularly sad for the clan cats around her who had to grieve the dead cats' deaths. She was happy that they'd died together, though. She knew how much Gingershine cared for Crookedstripe. With that, she bowed her head.

Skyseer's eyes clouded with grief. What have we done to deserve such loss? she wondered. She met Jade's gaze but didn't look at the cat much. She thought of the misery. She thought of what might happen next. Would foxes or badgers invade their territory and kill of any more? Would a particularly strong cat kill off Swiftstar before he'd seen much of the light of being a leader. She grieved there silently for her lost clanmates that were now watching them from Starclan.

Stormgaze was at Jade's side pretty soon. He wrapped his tail around her and sighed. Though he hardly felt bad. He didn't understand why he hadn't felt anything when a cat died. His claws itched for something to cut, his pelt bristled. He didn't understand this murderous feeling either, but tried his best to hide it and succeeded. He glanced around the camp, more interested in seeing a pretty she-cat mooning over him than grieving for the dead cats. Crookedstripe was a useless elder anyway, he thought, and Gingershine was always running after him. Maybe it's done the Clan a favor. He frowned at his thoughts and shook his head in an attempt to clear them, but still he felt something calling him... some unseen force that was driving him slowly into the dark madness of bloodshed and hatred.*

Fernleaf looked up from her clanmates' dead body to see Stormgazer. She sighed with a slight smile on her face and stared at him with googly eyes.

*Stormgaze lifted his chin a little but made sure not all sadness had left his eyes. What would his clanmates think if he didn't grieve? Maybe they'd instantly hate him. It wasn't his fault he was that way. He met Fernleaf's gaze and winked, got to his paws, and padded slowly towards the thorn barrier.

Skyseer growled lowly when Stormgaze seemingly signaled to the moony she-cat to follow him. He'd simply shaken her off back on the moor. Jealously rippled through her pelt, but her thoughts quickly turned back to Crookedstripe and Gingershine.*

*Palepaw sat down Sootpaw in the Shadowfeather`s den a tear running down her cheak. She had often visited Crookedstripe as a kit lstening to stories. Gingershine was a nice cat who deeply cared for Crookedstripe.*

Fernleaf blushed when Stormgaze winked at her. Her paws itched to follow him. She hesitated before deciding to do so. She got to her paws and padded after him, not seeing Skyseer and how jealous she was.

Shadowfeather placed Sootpaw down and instantly remembered who was killed, Gingershine and Crookedstripe. Grief filled her eyes, she was never very close to them, but she cared deeply for all of the cats in Shadowclan.

*Stormgaze sensed Fernleaf following him and decided to turn around a few fox-lengths outside of Shadowclan territory. He fluffed up his chest with a few licks and turned around, his eyes steadily fixed on the she-cat. He sat down, his tail wrapped neatly around his paws. "Hello, Fernleaf," he said in a raspy tone, and after a short silence he added, "It's sad that Shadowclan lost two great cats today.." he trailed off, trying to sound sad and impressed himself with it. He flexed his long claws and kept Fernleaf's gaze.*

(Lol, yeah, I enjoy using this character. Really amusing, and I like his history.)

Fernleaf was still blushing with a slight smile but snapped out of her daze when he brought up the two dead cats. She frowned sadly and looked at her paws. "Oh... yeah. Well... with cats dying like this, there's bound to be some kits born in the clan by now..." she meowed and looked up at him blankly.

(Yeah, his history is very intriguing. :3)
