Mothpaw nodded and began to turn her head from side to side, looking for prey. Her ears twitched now and then, listening for any movement. She raised her head slightly, scenting the air. The faint scent of vole wafted into her nose. Mothpaw quickly turned her head, her ears perked forward, listening carefully for the vole. She heard the small rodent's feet skittering across the forest floor and her eyes locked onto her target. The vole froze, yet it's intentions were not clear to Mothpaw; all she knew was that her prey was standing clear for her to take. She dropped into a crouch quickly, only slightly losing her balance, but she quickly regained it. The apprentice quietly stalked forward, gently feeling the ground with her paw before putting her weight onto it. Her tail twitched high above her with anxiety. She was nervous, having Hawkfeather watching her every movement. She suddenly sprang off the ground, perhaps flying a little too high in the air, as when she came down, the vole had already scampered away. "Foxdung!" Mothpaw spat under her breath, then turned to Hawkfeather, her ears flat with embarrassment, "I'm sorry."

Hawkfeather flicked his ears and pressed his lips into a fine line. He flicked his tail side to side as he thought. His amber eyes gazed deeply at his apprentice. "Well I will assume you know what you did wrong, a strong warrior should know without someone telling them. I want you to try again and not make a mistake. We learn from mistakes Mothpaw." The warrior's voice was rather calm as he didn't want to lose his temper after all this was her first try of the day. "Go on."

Mothpaw felt her cheeks turn hot under her fur, "I-I actually don't know what I did wrong." Her voice came out as a quiet murmur. Her tail twitched behind her nervously. She went over everything she had done and could not pinpoint what had gone wrong.

Eagle nodded solemnly as she regaled him with her tale; what she described would make any sensible cat turn and run. He saw no reason to shame her for doing what she thought best. He cleared his throat as she paused, the wind buffeting his tattered fur before she went on to tell him of her life in Shadowclan.

"They treat you like family?" The rogue was confused by how trusting his sister seemed of these clan cats she called her own. It seemed like such a far-off concept for Eagle; he had not had trust in someone else since his siblings had still lived, back when he was younger. "I escaped, a while after you. Things were the best as they could have been, for a while. They caught me, and used my reappearance to teach others a lesson; leave, and this will be done to you, too." He gestured to his ruined eye and ear with his forepaw. "After that, they trusted me more. Eventually I rose through the ranks and was allowed to... explore, so to speak. One day I just never went back." He shrugged, knowing his tale wasn't as exciting as his sisters. Still, it was his own.

"That was a while ago, though. I've been roaming around ever since, looking for you." He continued, his gaze having drifted towards their surroundings while he'd spoken. Now, he was staring back at Owlwing. "I'm assuming you want me to join this clan of yours, now?"

"Oh, brother, that sounds horrible. I am mad that they ruined that handsome face of yours." She grinned slightly trying to lift the sad, horrible atmosphere they both had created by sharing their stories of how they left their dreaded home place. Thought it was never home.

She then flicked her ears at his words. "I'm shocked that you came to look for me. I mean you should hate me for what I've done." She sighed and once again was surprised by his words. "Oh no Eagle, if you want to join your more than welcome to! I'm sure that Chillstar would welcome you even though shes a bit of a grump sometimes..but I wouldn't make you or persuade you to unless you were comfortable with it." She looked at her brother with a face of understanding. "I know this sounds bizarre and why would I trust them right?"

She looked around her territory. "But they care for each other, everyone does their part. Its the opposite of the city except of course having fights with the neighboring clans." She rolled her eyes in amusement at remembering that Riverclan and Thunderclan were fighter over rocks. "They do act like a big family." She meowed looking at her brother once more waiting for his response. She felt a little nervous about what he'd say about joining.

A sparrow flew overhead, skinny and puny in size. Frostwhisker sighed, remembering how little food these pitiful creatures would provide for the next few moons. She continued walking through the forest nonetheless, wandering aimlessly around until she found herself at the ThunderClan border. It was quite the dramatic change, from pine to birch trees and the undergrowth was also very much different from over at their side. Here the ground was flourishing with bushes and grass, while at their side the growth of plants was rather small. Mostly due to the lack of sunlight, or so she thought.

Shrugging she wondered what life in ThunderClan could be like, always hunting in those birch trees. They were most likely better at climbing than ShadowClan cats, after all they had birch trees which she reckoned would naturally be a lot easier to climb. Sighing she found herself a lonely birch tree on their side, seemingly the only one in quite a distance. She climbed the small tree, only to find it as useful as a twig when it came to climbing. Still, she settled on one of the lower branches that were actually a little thicker, enough for her to sit on. Then she gazed into the birch-covered forest, her odd-coloured eyes trailing along the undergrowth of ThunderClan.

Angel, a current loner, wanders into ShadowClan territory. I am so excited to meet these forest cats the old she-cat talked about!!! Perhaps I can join them and become a warrior!!!! She thinks with her heart pounding. A new start! A new life away from those horrible two-legs. Pfft! Who needs those guys!

She spots a mouse. "Hi there, little mousy mouse! Lets be friends! We can find the forest cats together!" She says as she approaches the mouse. "Awwww, your so cute!" She says as she crouches in a positions to make herself seem smaller. She then pounces and catches the mouse and holds it in her grip. "Awwww, look at you! SO cute! I never saw one at my old house! I could just eat you up!" She says before hearing another cats voice yell at her, "Intruder!" Angel whips around to see who it is.

{This is sort of my intro xD So any cat who wants to do this, please do! Its sort of needed as my first post with this cat, thanks!}

Nightclaw had been near the Thunderclan, quietly enjoying a laid back patrol on his own. With winder coming, things were becoming much too busy in camp and it rather set him on edge. The Thunderclan border hadn't really been marked for a few days he observed, and suddenly the scent became much stronger. He went to investigate, trying to not be too tense. He spotted a beautiful spotted she-cat who seemed petrified by something close to her. It was a snake..something he was sure the Thunderclan cats almost never ate. The tom was quite hesitant to cross the boarder, but he was not going to let some foolish cat die when he was right there and could easily save her. He let out a sigh and snuck up on the thing while it's attention was on the she-cat. He pounced quickly, needing a lot of agility to tackle a beast like a snake. He bit it's neck, tossing his head back and forth, waiting for it to stop squirming. "Are you hurt?" He asked meekly, with a slight tone of annoyance, though he tried to hide it. "Will you need help back to your camp?" He would be fine with escorting her back as long as he didn't get his throat ripped out in the process.

Eagle shrugged, "Eh, it's not so bad as I make it out to be." he responded easily, welcoming her light jest with open arms. He did dwell on his past from time to time, when nothing else of note was happening. But now he knew it preyed on his sister as well. Maybe, now that he was here, it would be easier for her?

"Why would I hate you for what you did?" he immediately questioned, a concerned expression taking over his face. Why would she ever think that? What on earth had he done, in their shared past, that would warrant her to think so poorly of herself? "You're the only family I've got left." he told her.

He contemplated the rest of her words, taking his time to mull them over. "I can't imagine living in such a place." he admitted, glancing about at their surroundings. Could such a place truly exist? Finally, after a few more moments to consider the offer, he spoke. "But if it really is as you say, I'll join."

Owlwing looked at her brother with a soft warm gaze. Her heart swelled with joy that he didn't hate her for killing their siblings. It wasn't really something she could help, it was kill or be killed. She nodded, "You're right. I'm really glad you've found me. If I knew you were still alive I'd of looked for you. I swear I would of."

Owlwing let out a breath as her muscles relaxed. She felt better about herself and was very happy she had family that had sense. But she wasn't prepared for the next words coming out of her brothers mouth. Her ears perked as she gazed at her brother. "Really?" She lifted her self up as she came closer to her brother. "You'll join?" She couldnt help but let out a purr of happiness.

She had been resisting the urge to be close to her brother but she now knew he had no grudge against her and was just as happy as she was to know they had each other. She leaned forward and nuzzled his neck. "Thank you for finding me. If you really are joining lets get back to Chillstar." She smiled.

Time to head back to camp. Frostwhisker had information for Crowspirit, after all. She smirked, glancing over her shoulder to ThunderClan territory. At last she'd found something that could make her day a little more action-filled! Plus, she had Nightclaw in her claws. If he wanted her to not tell Crowspirit about his desire to save enemy warriors, crossing the border in the process, then so be it. He'd have to pay a heavy price to keep her mouth shut.

Smiling contently she walked down the path with a pretty confident stride.

Angel looked at the tom. "Camp? Whats that? Who are you? Are you a forest cat?" Angel asked, excited. She finally was meeting a forest cat! How exciting! She looked at the tom and examined him. Eh, hes quite cute, actually. How does he keep his fur so prestine??? I mean, does he ever get brushed out here?! Angel thought as she glared at his coat. Lots of questions raced to her mine. She started to become light headed as she thought of words to say. She then blacked out~

Hawkfeather flicked his ears before he looking at Mothpaw. He then sighed softly. "Alright then, well you did jump a little to high when you were pouncing. It gave the creature enough time to take off. Watch me." He flicked his tail as he looked around sniffing the air. He heard a distinct noise and grinned. He leaned down as he carefully stepped toward the hidden mouse. He then leaped up not to high and came down nipping the mouse on the neck killing it. Hawkfeather turned to Mothpaw with the mouse in his mouth, laying it down he grinned slightly at her. "Think you can do that?"

Mapleflame walked out of camp, the chilly leaf-bare sun barely lighting her russet tabby fur. As she walked, her breath was visible against the cold air. She decided that she needed to hunt- hunting was the most important thing this season.

Mothpaw nodded, replaying her movements in her head. He was right. She watched him carefully, her gaze drifting over his body as he moved gracefully towards his prey. He seemed so confident, graceful and powerful. It was intimidating, but while it made her want to run away and hide, it also made her want to be better. She nodded, "I'll give it a shot."

Eagle nodded solemnly, "I believe you. Don't worry." He commented warmly, a bit shocked that he could still feel such heart-felt and calm emotions after all this time he had spent worrying and distraught.

"I'll join." He agreed to her stunned reaction with a tense smile, not all that pleased with himself, but trudging on just the same. He had no desire to join these clan cats, not really. But he would do it for his sister. She was the only thing he had left in this world that was precious to him.

Momentarily caught off guard by her affections, Eagle got to his paws and took a step back. His gaze flicked at her form quickly, then behind her towards where the camp lay. A sudden burst of anxiety twisted and pulled at his guts; he thought he might be sick from the sheer thought of presenting himself to these strange cats. But he had to.

Steeling himself, he nodded towards Owlwing, knowing that she would help him through this decision the best she could. Relying on her cheery and calm attitude, he began the trek back towards the Shadowclan camp and to it's leader. Once the two reached the camp, Eagle kept his pace with his sister, helping her hobble along into the camp clearing where they assumed Chillstar was waiting.

Hawkfeather nodded to the smaller she-cat. Even though she was timid which threw him off because she was of Shadowclan. "Mothpaw." He called with a rough but gentle voice. "You need to be ore confident, youre a Shadowclan cat. We are cunning and sly. We easily capture our prey. Embrace our nature." He then flicked his tail telling her to go find a piece of prey.

Owlwing noticed her bother had a non-touch affectionate attitude and quickly accommodated to it. She kept a mouse-lengths distance from each other before she continued to walk. "I just hope Chillstar didn't disappear." She sighed before looking around the forest smelling another Shadowclan cat, spotting Hawkfeather and Mothpaw not to far off in the training hollow. She gave them a curt nod with a suspicious look from Hawkfeather before he looked back at his apprentice. "That is Hawkfeather and Mothpaw." She informed her brother. "Oh I'm assuming you will receive a warrior name. I wonder what it'll be." She asked looking at her brother with curiousity.
