Cherryleaf sat by herself in the middle of camp, grooming her short tortoiseshell and white fur.

Finchsnarl paced in the camp, right outside the Warriors' Den.

Heatherpaw yawned and crawled out of the apprentices den, shaking off the peices of shredded moss stuck to her fur. It was a beautiful Newleaf morning and her paws were itching to go hunting or practice her battle moves.

Shrugging it off, she padded over to Cherryleaf, SkyClan's medicine cat. "Good morning, Cherryleaf!" she said cheerfully.

(I still need a mentor for her. If anybody has a free cat and wants to be her mentor, please say so! c:)

Marshfur padded out of the Warriors den and sat down outside the entrance. He licked his paws and then looked around for someone to talk to. He padded over to Heatherpaw and sat down. "Good morning, Heatherpaw. How are you today?" He asked politely, curling his tail around his paws.

(Marshfur could mentor Heatherpaw, Chem.)

Cherryleaf looked up from washing her fur, and smiled at the apprentice. "Good morning, Heatherpaw! How are you doing today?"

"Good!" Heatherpaw answered to the both of them. "Finchsnarl, can we go out and hunt or practice my battle moves?" she asked hopefully, her paws kneading the ground with excitement.

Finchsnarl stopped pacing and smiled at Heatherpaw. "Yes of course." He purred. "I was thinking that we should go hunting because the fresh-kill pile is rather low."

"Okay, let's go!" Heatherpaw extended her claws and started towards the entrance to camp. Oh, wait a second! she stopped in her tracks and spun around, calling over to Cherryleaf. "Is there anything I can get you while we're out?" she asked. "Any herbs?"

Cherryleaf looked up at Heatherpaw, looking surprised. "Oh, yes please." She mewed. "I'm low on borage, could you keep an eye out for me?" She purred, looking pleased.

Finchsnarl smiled down at his apprentice. "It's nice of you to think of her like that." He praised her.

Heatherpaw nodded to Cherryleaf and was proud to have her mentor's praise. "Let's go!" she meowed and darted out of camp. She could already feel a piece of caught prey between her paws...

On the edge of SkyClan territory, some bushes rustled and out came Skyheart. A rogue he was of SkyClan, but today he was determined to find out how SkyClan changed since he was brutally exiled. And no reason to be exiled, he thought disgracefully.

Skyheart walked calmly across the border, the smell of prey and other cats overwhelming his senses. He wasn't use to so much company, and the thought of cats being around him all the time made his veins run cold. Skyheart sat down near some bushy-leaved trees, breathing in the fresh air. My birthday started with these leaves, he thought. Skyheart remembered his mother telling him how leaves bombarded him right after he was born, since he was birthed under a tree during fall. As he was looking up, a leaf fell from the trees because of the wind right onto his face. He gave a whole-hearted laugh, only to take it back when he heard the crunching of leaves and sticks.

Finchsnarl looked down at Heatherpaw. "Where do you think we should go to hunt?" He asked testing her, before freezing and putting his tail in front of his apprentice, motioning her to stop too. "I smell a cat." He hissed.

Heatherpaw flicked her ears back and fourth, listening, and scented the air. She smelled something foreign. She had never encountered a rogue before. "What is that smell?" she whispered. "I've never scented it before."

Finchsnarl narrowed his eyes and tried to see where the scent was coming from. "Rogue." He growled softly. "It's only one cat though, so I think we can handle it.

Heatherpaw twitched her ears, nervous. "What does he want?" she asked.

Finchsnarl shook his head and lifted his shoulders for a moment before letting them drop. "I don't know... The only way to find out is to ask him, but he could be dangerous."

Heatherpaw felt her fur rise on her shoulders and braced herself. She tried peering through the bushes to get a look at the tress passer. "We should scare him off.. this is SkyClan's land!" she whispered urgently.

Hawkfur felt sun on his nose and woke with a sneeze. He'd meant to wake up by sun-up but he had been on the midnight patrol so he supposed it was fine to wake up a little late, as long as nobody had needed his assistance while he slept. The tom stretched out his back and shoulders before climbing down into camp. He sat down and began throughly licking his pelt free of moss and tangles.

Finchsnarl screwed up his nose, thinking. Should we scare them off or should I send Heatherpaw back to camp to get a few more cats? He asked himself, silently. "Let's try to get a better look, then we'll see if we should scare them off or not." He hissed into Heatherpaw's ear.

Heatherpaw whisked back into the bushes, retreating a good few fox-lengths. She then quietly jumped up onto a low branch of a tree. Jumping high was SkyClan's talent, after all. She quietly jumped between the branches, looking out for the rogue. Im gunna get you, trespasser! she thought, hunting her prey like a skilled cobra.

Steppingstone quietly towards where he knew the cat was, Finchsnarl peered through the undergrowth at the trespasser. "I think we can take him." He whispered up to where Heatherpaw was in the tree.

Heatherpaw, up on the branch of a tree, tensed her muscles. Her eyes bore into the center of the rogue's back, aiming to leap on him. However, it was doubtful that she would be heavy enough to knock the trespasser down. Or even pin him for that matter. But the thought didn't cross her mind.

Finchsnarl glanced up at his apprentice, then stepped out of the bushes and faced the rogue. He wanted to talk with this cat before anything, so there might not be a need for violence, but his claws were unsheathed and ready for battle just in case. "You're intruding on SkyClan's territory." He said, keeping his voice calm and not hostile, though in a warning tone.

Marshfur rolled over on his back and watched the clouds peacefully as he tried making out what shapes the clouds were making. He was amusing himself, since he didn't have anything to do at the moment. He giggled at the oddly shaped clouds as he lay there comfortably.

Shadepaw stretched and surveyed the camp. She sighed, both a sigh of relief that nothing was going on and also a sigh of boredom. She slowly padded out of the apprentice den and saw that the fresh-kill pile was a little lower than she would have preferred. She examined it for a fraction of a second and decided to go hunting. Shadepaw strode out of camp and lifted her nose, seeking the scent of a bird or squirrel.

Stunning blue eyes peeked out of the warriors den. A thick, striped, elegant tail flicked into the limited light that was struggling its way through the leaves. Lilyhaze stood and casually stepped out into the morning sunlight.

Wolfgaze looked around camp. Shadepaw was padding out of camp, Hawkfur was cleaning himself next to him, and Lilyhaze was outside of the warriors den, enjoying the sunlight. Wolfgaze quickly stepped out and began to remove the dirt and moss from his fur.
