A moment after Heatherpaw's outburst though, Creekstar came walking into the camp once again. He looked quite serious, and hardly payed attention to Heatherpaw standing there, nor the other cats. He paced straight to his den, coughing heavily and looking thoroughly ill.

Silentshade looked rather bister as she walked into the camp, her face contracted into a wrinkled grimace. She disliked filthy rogues who wriggled their way into the clans, and started invading them with information that seemed to come from nowhere. Our anscestors would warn us if anything bad would happen, right? Grumbling she yawned and took a piece of prey from the freshkill pile, which was frighteningly low at the moment.

Gingerpaw had padded into the med den and sat down. He flicked his ears as he watched the rest of the cats entering the camp. He still wondered what Yuri had meant by 'A great danger.' Gingerpaw shook his head and walked to the front of the med den and laid down.

Creekstar got to his paws again, and had almost been falling asleep when he realised something important. He ought to make sure that they had more apprentices, and that the apprentices worthy of their name got theirs. Sighing, and with his paws dragging over the floor he went out and held his head high, trying to hide all signs of weakness. "Let all cats of the clan gather underneath to hear my words!" he yowled at the top of his lungs.

Gingerpaw had gathered under to hear what Creekstar had to say.

Walking back to camp after the gathering, Spottedheart shivered. He short fur made her colder then most cats, and she crouched down on the side of camp. She wasn't very tired currently, so she decided not to crowd the warriors' den.
Looking up at Creekstar's words, she wasn't surprised that Creekstar was finally holding a clan meeting. It was time for some apprentice ceremonies.

Drippingpetal glanced around, her sharp eyespicking up every detail of the camp. OUtwardly she was a normal, relaxed cat. But inside her dark body, her thoughts churned. The broiling hate and fury she felt when she entered a forest was dying away, but she tried to summon warmth for her Clan. Briefly, a small flame lit, kindled in her heart, but it died away with a pitiful glow. Sadness and an unnamable emotion filled Drippingpetals heart. She could never think of her Clanmates in the same way while she harboured this hate for where they lived and all it stood for.
A call from the eader drew her eyes, and a silent sigh passed the striped she-cats jaws. Turning to approach, she settled on the edge of the hollow, tail tucked neatly around her paws and orbs fixed on Creekstar.

Rabbitleap watched his sister draw away, a wary glow in his fawn eyes. She always seemed off whenshe had been out, but the warrior had never such burning fire in her ice blue orbs. Pushing his troubled littermate to the back of his mind, the cream pelted tom heard the gathering cry. Jumping to his paws, he wound his way through the assembling cats, his small figure easily slipping through gaps. Reaching a suitable place in the crowd, he sat, looking up at the leader, head tipped slghtly to one side. A shiver wound it's way down his light frame, but he stayed silent, waiting for the meeting to commence.

Looking over his cats, Creekstar smiled with a pleased glimmer in his eyes. This was a clan to be proud of. "Cats of ThunderClan! Kits are the most important value in our clan. They ensure the growth, and succeed our place when we die. They keep our clan alive, and is in every way the future of our kind. Today, we've got kits ready to recieve their name, and begin the vital training by us. We pray they will not abuse their strenghts, and only use them to help their clan succeed," he said, as an intro to the following ceremony.

Motioning with his tail, he made the two kits of Thunderheart's, Tigerkit and Wolfkit as well as their adopted brother, Nightkit. It was their full right to be apprenticed together. "Wolfkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time
for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your
warrior name, you will be known as Wolfpaw. Your
mentor will be Rabbitleap," he said and smiled gently, gesturing with his tail for Rabbitleap to step forwards and meet his new apprentice.

Continuing on, he turned to Tigerkit. "Tigerkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time
for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your
warrior name, you will be known as Tigerpaw. Your
mentor will be _______," he finished and smiled softly to the tabby cat.

Lastly, he turned to the smaller kit, black as midnight with a white dash on his chest and chin, as well as small, white paws. "Nightkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time
for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your
warrior name, you will be known as Nightpaw. Your
mentor will be _______." This cat was a pure mystery, although in his moons in the nursery with the other kits, he seemed to have adapted well. Nodding firmly he looked over the assigned mentors and their apprentices. "I trust the mentors chosen enough to believe they will provide excellent training for our warrior-to-bes." Fluffing up his pelt he let the apprentices and mentors take a moment to bond, although had the intention to move on.

Darkpaw was asleep in the apprentices den

Rabbitleap listened to his leaders introdution, his folded ears pricked and long, fluffy tail flicking back and forth. When the three kits stepped forwards, interest sparkled in his chest. There had not been an aprentice ceremony for a while. When his name was called, a small spasm of surprise jolted through the long haired cat's lean body. Getting to his paws, the warrior padded silently to the front, winding his thin frame through the bodies of the cats. Though the small-boned tom was 20 moons old, this would be his first apprentice.
His round chocolate gaze landed on the grey and white cat who he was to mentor. The broad shoulders and strong body opposed Rabbitleap's low, light figure. However, he stepped forward, and bent his head slightly to tuch the younger cat's nose with his own.

(Darkpaw's mentor is Honeypool. Can you announce that?)

((Although if Darkpaw's already an apprentice, you can easily pretend the ceremony was done long time ago. It'd seem weird that an apprentice is given his mentor after his ceremony. Unless you're pretending the last mentor died, of course.))

Wolfkit was extatic. Even more than extatic, thrilled, happy, pleased, proud... The list could go on forever. It was with brilliantly shining eyes that he padded up to the podium, got his new name. Wolfpaw. That's me. Wolfpaw. the name repeated itself in his head a couple of times, and he decided he liked it. It had a nicer, warmer tone than Wolfkit. Smiling he looked over his shoulder to see his new mentor.

He was unsure about nearing the adult cats, and he hadn't talked a lot with the tom earlier, which made him one of the more unfamiliar cats in the clan. However, he didn't let himself be scared and he blinked happily while he stretched his neck to touch his mentor's nose, which would, hopefully, evolve into a friendship between mentor and apprentice. His father had never been there for him, but maybe Rabbitleap was willing to learn him what it was like to have a fathers figure?

Rabbitleap's round brown gaze met the shining eyes of his apprentice, and a dribble of uncertainty wound down to his heart. The young tom seemed as opposed to the cream pelted mentor as was possible to be - his body was broad and powerful, and compared to Rabbitleap's small, light-boned figure the new apprentice looked more like a warrior in stature. Gazing into Wolfpaw's bright orbs stirred emotion in the long haired tom; The exitement of his own apprentice ceremony, the fear of becoming a mentor.

(Sorry I haven't been online so much, relatives were visiting. But I'm back now! Okay, I can tell from your post that Wolfkit is becoming Wolfpaw?)

Floodpath sat calmly, his tail folded neatly over his front paws. His eyes burned with jealousy, he wished that he could have an apprentice so he would be able to fill his ambition, but so far his dream was on hold. (He's kind of evil, so that's the reason for this.) He tried to look as if he was happy for Rabbitleap, when really he wished that he was in that place instead and couldn't care less for the other cat getting an apprentice. That should be me. He thought angrily.

Mistybird looked at Rabbitleap and Wolfpaw proudly. Her kits sat right in front of her, squirming and giving small squeaks, but she gave them each a small prod to get them to calm down.

(Thornclaw could be Tigerpaw's mentor. I'll go get that worked out! x3)

Thorntalon and Heatherpaw cheered the new apprentices' names, welcoming them into the Clan.

Honeypool woke up. She walked into the apprentice den. She saw Darkpaw was still sleeping, and left.

Darkpaw woke up, yawning and stretching he padded out of the apprentices den "honeypool?" he asked not seeing his mentor

Honeypool saw Darkpaw. "Ready to begin training for the day, Darkpaw? I was thinking today we could focus on keen hunting skills. Sound good?" she mewed.

((No other cats in need of a ceremony? Ah well. And Cherryleaf, I've got Nightpaw, who's in need of an apprentice at the moment if you're interested.))

Wolfpaw had a certain understanding glow in his eyes as he watched his mentor. He'd been nervous for this day for several moons. His mother had told them to act nicely, and be groomed perfectly well. By what the older apprentices had told him, he thought there'd be some sort of trial for them to prove themselves worthy of becoming an apprentice. It had scared Wolfpaw a lot, although it didn't bother him any longer. Not now, when he'd completed the ceremony and was still in a single piece.

Meanwhile, Creekstar had opened his mouth to speak again. "Now that we've made sure our clan will be given new warriors, we'll proceed with what may be a bit more important," he said and frowned. "At the Gathering, a rogue appeared and told of a great disaster. That she'd need one cat from each clan. Of course, this is complete rubbish without knowing what StarClan thinks of this. Gingerpaw, Clawpaw, did either of you have a sign? Anything at all that may suggest that we're to send a cat on a mission to no-man-land?" His voice was strict and he seemed oddly serious all out of sudden.

Rabbitleap looked once more into Wolfpaw's eyes, but the serious note to Creekstar's voice made him raise his head in alarm. Fear flickered for a heart-beat in the cream furred tom's round orbs as his leader told of the enigmatic rogue.

((No, he isn't. I'm just RPing him because the owner isn't active any longer. It's just for the sake of completing important Gatherings, ceremonies etc.))

Heatherpaw, now out from the elder's den to attend the Clan meeting, looked at Honeypool like she was a hedgehog. "Your going to take your apprentice training in this weather?! That's a death sentence!"

Thorntalon looked over his shoulder and hissed for his daughter to quiet down.

"Not out, in camp. No one said you can't crouch and crawl in camp." she mewed before turning to Creekstar.

Darkpaw nodded happily. He got into his best crouch. keeping his tail high off the ground, as not to make noise, he stalked forward. Then he tripped, face planting into the ground
