Yewpaw turned toward Pine and gave a weak smile. She sat down and meowed,"Well, there's not much to tell about myself, but I guess other apprentices might get annoyed by me,"She paused and glanced around,"I like being happy, and I think that my mentor might come and lecture me soon."She stopped with a sigh and partly frowned,"I used to be a loner too.... i was left alone in the forest.... my parents left me......I was only a kit when this clan took me in. I do not know who my real parents are....." She stared down at her paws with sad eyes.

Forestblaze stepped back when Sandstone began talking to Flarestalker and ignored her. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. She thought sadly and sat down next to Flarestalker quietly.

Pine sighed. "I was abandoned too... but by twolegs..."

Nightwing saw the toad up ahead and crouched down ready to pounce, as he did so, he cracked a twig. He glanced at the toad but it didn't move.
Darkclaw crouched down ready to kill the toad. When he heard the twig he shot up. "Who's there?"
he growled as soon as Nightwing pounced at the toad. Nightwing missed the toad because he was distracted. Darkclaw growled at Nightwing. "What are you doing?!"
"The frog!" Nightwing meowed. "Get the frog!"
"Its a toad." Darkclaw growled.
"Doesn't matter!" Nightwing hissed as he chased after the toad. The toad mad a half circle as Nightwing chased it, running straight into Darkclaw's claws. Darkclaw quickly killed it.
"Great. Let's take it to camp." Nightwing meowed as he headed for camp.
"Wait I have to get my water vole." Darkclaw meowed as he headed for the lake. Nightwing picked up the toad in his jaws then padded back to camp, picking up his woodpecker too. He strode into camp and placed the prey on the freshkill pile.

Yewpaw stared at him with sympathy, then glanced over to the group of she-cats and smiled. "Hey, lets go meet some cats, come on!" She ignored her other feelings and smiled at Pine. She then padded over to the group of Flarestalker, Sandstone, and Forestblaze. Smiling she mewed a hello and glanced at Pine for him to follow.

Forestblaze saw Nightwing and sighed. He stomach growled and she looked down in embarrassment. She saw Yewpaw pad up and she smiled at the apprentice. "Think I'll grab some prey. Be right back!" She meowed softly and she padded toward the pile. She looked and at Nightwing and fliked her tail in greeting as she sorted through the prey.

Pine nodded and followed Yewpaw.

Nightwing smiled warmly at Forestblaze. "Hi Forestblaze!"

Darkclaw quickly grabbed his water vole and headed back to camp.

Glancing at the two she-cats she meowed to them,"This is Pine," she flicked her tail to him,"He is new and I am showing him around. Could you introduce yourselves?"She asked them politely.

Forestblaze smiled back at Nightwing's warmness. "Hello, how are you feeling today Nightwing? The heat is getting worse it seems." She meowed and picked out a mouse that wasn't all that scrawny.

((kk and I was meaning has the clan moved back into camp))
*Stormwhisker glared at the kits and scooped them up in his jaws. He started twords the camp knowing they had moved back. The kits wiggled and squeaked protest as he ran though the pine fprest. As he nearedthe camp Stormwhisker slowed down and smiled as the kits gasped in awe at the camp. He panted he put them down next to Lilypetal.*

*Gingerkit let out a small growl as her father picked her up. she looked at her sisters and smiled cutely. She leaned over to them and whisperd. "We might get to see the camp now!!!!" She batted at Splashkits ear and growlled playfully.*

*Brokenkit squeaked playfully as he batted the ball back to his mother. He looked over his shoulder and laughed softly as his he saw his father bringing his sisters and he didn`t look too happy.*

*Palepaw yawned the heat getting to her. She looked around for her dreind Sootpaw, but didn`t see her. Palepaw decied to take a nap in the cool shade of a birch. She soon fell alsleep.*

"I'm good." Nightwing meowed, deciding to eat the toad that him and Darkclaw had caught. "And yes. The water is getting lower too down by the lake."

Darkclaw took his water vole and began to eat it by the edge of camp.

Sandstone finnished the conversation and turned to see Pine, Yewpaw, and Nightwing. she walked over to talk with them,"Hey!"

Flarestalker sighed and shrugged. "Yeah..." She trailed off when Sandstone walked up to her. "Oh hey Sandstone I'm good."

*Creekstorm scratched his ear irritably. This definitely was his least favorite season. The mosquitoes everywhere, the hot weather. He hissed in exasperation and stretched his legs, hoping for some rain today. "If only I could go down to the lake for a drink." he mewed, knowing that was out of the question. He looked around the camp, hoping to find a cat that might want to go for a hunt.*
