Batcry nodded. "That might be a good idea." He had hoped the apprentices didn't meet any snakes or badgers. His ears flicked with a slight worried gaze into the forest and he sighed before curling his tail calmly over his paws. He had not been exactly right, his mind was on the issue he had with the Shadowclan she-cat, Shadowdance. He liked a cat from another clan and wasn't sure how to handle it but he decided then and there he'd toss it to the side of his brain. He was a warrior of Thunderclan and he was acting like an adolescent apprentice.

Larkpaw grinned back at Sunflare as she nodded,"Alright, I think I got it," she began to bound away, as she muttered, "You look like a giant lump of fur, with you fluffing out like that."

Sunflare grumbled lowly, "I cant believe my apprentice called me a lump of fur, a giant one at that!" He was so busy talking to himself he almost forgot about the fact his apprentice was about to jump on him. "I think I'm pretty lean for my size, I didn't gain any weight if anything I lost weight! Its leaf-bare for Starclan's sake." He sighed before looking into the forest.

Larkpaw slipped into the trees once more, waiting for her mentor's attention to turn away from her. She noticed him muttering to himself, finding the chance to slowly creep towards him. She silently, yet swiftly leaped out onto her mentor's back, seeing her chance to leap off before her mentor could roll onto his back and squish her.

Bushkit shrugged. "I'm not really sure." He meowed, as he begin walking toward the nursery. "Well a rest would be," He began, but flinched as he forgot and sat his paw down. He lifted his paw up and stared at it. "A rest would be good," He muttered, before padding into the nursery.

The tom cat jumped in surprise and rolled onto his back but quickly noticed that his apprentice was fast and had already leaped off. He jumped up before she could belly rank him and nodded in approval. "You did an excellent job. I'm proud of you." He grinned. "Alright lets go hunt really quick and head back to camp for a break. If you're up to it we will train before night fall." He flicked his tail side to side.

Larkpaw puffed out her chest purring happily at her mentor," Are we going to hunt around here or are we going somewhere else to hunt?" She tilted her head questioningly at the tom, her eyes sparkling with excitement, happy to be able to perform the new battle technique well after her first try.

Tigerfur nodded and slipped away into the trees, his ears, eyes and nose alert for any signs of the two apprentices. "Mudpaw, Dirtpaw?" He called out, loudly enough for them to potentially hear him, but quiet enough not to scare any prey.

Rangepaw felt better after Batcry said they'd wait and try to find them; it seemed the more responsible thing to do. He padded a little ways further into Thunderclan's territory, scenting at the air frequently to try and catch either apprentices scents. Damnit, where had they run off to? Rangepaw wasn't really angry; he was just worried. The ginger apprentice huffed and tried calling out to them, as he heard Tigerfur doing. "Dustpaw?" He yowled, "Mudpaw?" He continued, glancing here and there between their names to see if he could spot either of them. His calls were louder than Tigerfur's, knowing they weren't on a hunting patrol, so the prey could be scared witless for all he cared.

Looking at his apprentice he let out a purr of amusement at how excited she was. "We will hunt around here if you don't mind." He said as he flicked his tail. He began to looked around his ears craned to hear every noise in the forest. He heard scuffling in a bush not really near them but he slipped into a hunters crouch and carefully placed his paws in front of him. He padded forward and spotted a small forest mouse. He grinned and leaped up coming down quickly on it and gave it a swift bite to the neck.

Amberkit went out and looked around the base. "Has anyone seen Cheetahheart?" she loudly mewed, nervously because they were great friends.

Since no one responded to Amberkit's wailing, she sneaked out of camp and tested out her scenting skills. "Cheetahheart?" Amberkit mewed, coming near her scent. Amberkit stared in horror at the sight; Cheetahheart lying on the ground with a dead blackbird in her jaws. "Cheetahheart! Wake up!" Amberkit bawled. After hearing Cheetahhearts response, she left back to base with the blackbird in her jaws. She secretly put it on the pile and went back to the nursery.
Cheetahheart
"What?" Cheetahheart stirred, noticing a pain in her jaw. She dropped the blackbird at Amberkit's paws and smiled that the cat had noticed her disappearance. Cheetahheart nuzzled Amberkit's head with her nose and told her, "Go back to camp before Bushkit notices your gone." She skimpered around the territory around, stalking a moluse untill she heard a "Hisssss" She turned around, with the scent of Shadowclan in her nose and saw the green creature staring at her with black, beady eyes. Cheetahheart slowly turned her head towards a cat looking at her. "Help." she mewed, loud enough for the tom across the border to hear her, but not for the snake to notice any movement.

(I'm sowwy I can't really help..I am just now kind of getting back into the roleplays myself.)

Nightclaw had been near the Thunderclan, quietly enjoying a laid back patrol on his own. With winder coming, things were becoming much too busy in camp and it rather set him on edge. The Thunderclan border hadn't really been marked for a few days he observed, and suddenly the scent became much stronger. He went to investigate, trying to not be too tense. He spotted a beautiful spotted she-cat who seemed petrified by something close to her. It was a snake..something he was sure the Thunderclan cats almost never ate. The tom was quite hesitant to cross the boarder, but he was not going to let some foolish cat die when he was right there and could easily save her. He let out a sigh and snuck up on the thing while it's attention was on the she-cat. He pounced quickly, needing a lot of agility to tackle a beast like a snake. He bit it's neck, tossing his head back and forth, waiting for it to stop squirming. "Are you hurt?" He asked meekly, with a slight tone of annoyance, though he tried to hide it. "Will you need help back to your camp?" He would be fine with escorting her back as long as he didn't get his throat ripped out in the process.

While sitting in the minuscule birch tree near the ThunderClan border, Frostwhisker suddenly noticed a clanmate of her crossing the border. She tilted her head with curiosity, before a grin blossomed over his face. Yes... This was what she had waited for. Something happening. Chuckling the she-cat jumped down from the tree, landing with a soft thud on the ground. Being rather stealthy she followed the tom, stalking his movements.

Soon she realized he'd entered enemy territory to save... A she-cat? She smirked maliciously. Had she just discovered the beginnings of a forbidden relationship? Oh the power she could have over the two of them if that actually happened. Yes, she did enjoy power... If they didn't listen to her, she'd spill their secret. Smirking she studied the pair from a distance, happy that the wind was blowing towards her so her scent was not easily traced. She'd wait right there, listen to them and find out what their relationship consisted of... Perhaps she could earn great good from this.

"I'm not hurt. Thanks, you can help me to camp." Cheetahheart picked up the faint scent of cat and turned her head. "What do you want!" she loudly meowed. Cheetahheart sat down, waiting for an answer.

Nightclaw nodded very formally. "Glad to hear. Since you are not hurt, I would suggest in you returning to your camp as to not cause unneeded suspicion. I would, however, suggest that you tell your leader what had happened in case one of your clan mates happens upon my scent across the boarder. I wish you well..." He paused, not knowing her name. "I must be going now, I would rather spend as little time as I can across the boarder if it can be helped. He allowed her a moment to reply, but tensed, getting ready to turn away. When the she-cat snapped, he turned his head quickly to the direction she was looking. He could not decipher who it was. Surely they would understand what had happened.

Frostwhisker was thoroughly disappointed. Had she really dragged herself all the way across the border, only to witness these two cats stiffly saying thank you to each other. She gritted her teeth and had to hold back not to hiss. When the she-cat sitting in the tree caught her scent she didn't hesitate in stepping forwards from the bushes, a smirk on her face. "I saw my ridiculous clanmate crossing the border, so I followed him. You should have left her to fight the snake on her own, Nightclaw. If she'd lost, we'd have one less brat to fight later," she sneered, glaring at Nightclaw. "Just you wait 'till Crowspirit hears about this," she meowed threateningly to her clanmate, before she whipped around and made her way back across the border.

Even though no real action had happened between the two cats, her clanmate had still saved a cat from a different clan. In her mind, that ought to be punished roughly. Degradation to an apprentice would be suiting... A smirk curled across her lips at the thoughts, happy that she could make something happen after this even though it hadn't been as drastic as she had hoped. "For your own sake, you ought to get your furry buttocks back across the border, Nightclaw. Or I'll report a cross-clan relationship as well," she yelled over her back, crossing the border a few seconds later.

Cheetahheart walked into to camp with a mouse she caught. She was starving, her mouth watering from the fresh, warm scent of the mouse, but she dropped the mouse in the medicine cat's den. "Here you go Ambershard." Cheetahheart walked away and looked at herself in a puddle. The once well-fed, sleek coated she-cat's sides had shrunk so small, if she was a kittypet, she would've confused herself for an apprentice. Cheetahheart walked away from the puddle and took the tiniest piece of fresh-kill she had ever seen, even in leaf-bare, and ate it. Her strength flooded back in, but she went into the warriors den and laid down.It was early, but the snake and Shadowclan warrior encounter had brought drowsiness into her eyes and they closed, heavy on her decreasing sized head.

Spiritkit was asleep in her nest with her nose tucked under her paw and her soft fur fluffed. She rolled over, grumbling as a distant noise happened to wake her. She attempted to continue sleeping but failed so she sat up and tried straightening her fur. Of course this ended in a fail as well so she stumbled out of the nursery and sat just outside it.

"Hey Spiritkit!" Amberkit mewed, taking her place outside the nursery as well. "Your fur, it's so fluffy!" Amberkit laughed, then attempted to straighten the hair out too. "Oh Starclan, please let this cat's fur go down." Amberkit silently meowed jokingly, but, with all attempts, the hair still was up.

Bushkit found himself in the middle of the nursery, warm yet a bit confused. He had had the same dream again, of the brown she cat with the black ears. Maybe Ambershard will be able to tell me what this kind of dream meant. Perhaps, she does receive dreams from... what it call, oh yeah, Starclan. At least that is what I've heard. He told himself, rising from his nest. He forgot though that his paw was still a little sore, and even though it had hurt when he sat it down, it wasn't nearly as much as when he first injured it. "Well well, what do you know," He mummered to himself before limping out of the den.

Mushroomtail crept over to the Highrock and leapt up to the tippy top. She looked down at the clearing trying to count how many cats were in the camp right now. Clearing her throat, she spoke up, "Attention, puhplease gather around for a small meeting." She sat down, "I'll be announcing the new deputy today..." Her tongue rolled in her mouth, this felt like a weird time to do this.
