Burntstar is training Lonerpaw, Blazingfrost caught a frog and a straying rabbit, and Bramblefire is watching them.

Rosepaw looked over the medicine cat store. Everything seemed to be intact, though she spotted a few withered stems and leaves so she picked them out carefully so she didn't damage the fresh ones. She took the withered and rotten herbs in her jaws and padded out of the den to deposit them out of camp. She looked around then her eyes stopped at the elder's den. I should go check on the elders... She noted thoughtfully in her head as she carried the herbs out of camp. She spat out the leaves and got rid of the useless herbs and began to pad into camp. She sniffed the air, all she could smell was her clan and prey, so she guess that everything was fine. She slipped into camp going towards the elders den. She poked her head inside the den, "Lostleg? Anyone in there?" She called softly hoping she wasn't disturbing anyone.

Blazingfrost hauled her catches, a frog and rabbit, onto the fresh-kill pile. She was so bored she may as well try to patch any holes in the dens. She headed towards the elders den. there she encountered Rosepaw the med. cat apprentice. " Can you see any holes that need patched in there?" she asked. She sensed something ominous and looked up at the sky. She saw dark clouds massing above."Storm!" she hissed.

Rosepaw pricked up her ears," I don't think so, you may want to take a look, if a storm is coming, you better make sure there's no openings. We need to keep the elders dry, I only came to check if they needed anything for any aching bones," Rosepaw made room for the warrior to pass.

Blazingfrost padded in. "thanks." She observed the den and found a gap in the side. She dashed out in search of long grasses and grabbed as much as she could carry. She rushed back to camp and as soon as she finished patching the den, rain started to poor down on her pelt. She rushed to the warriors den and retreated from the rain. As soon as she settled down she started to clean her pelt.

Rosepaw's fur felt heavy, but she shook her pelt, water droplets splashing everywhere as she slipped inside her den to get some shelter.

She watched as rain poured down, "Great, " she muttered, she went to the herb storage to see if there were anything she needed to restock.

While asleep, Blazingfrost had a nice dream of hunting frogs at the lead of a patrol.

Bush limped into the medicine cats den, taking care to dry himself off gently before returning himself to his nest. "Most cats would rant about the rain, you know Bush? But no, you'd actually stand in it except it's too close to leafbare right now and your leg is injured. But at lest you can enjoy the soothing sound of the rain." He muttered to himself, not caring if anyone heard him.

Rosepaw pricked her ears hearing someone enter. She looked to see who it was, "Oh hello there Bush, do you need anything?"

"Nothing really." He meowed, although one could detect sadness in his voice. He sat in his designated nest, and just sat there, looking miserable.

"What's wrong?" Rosepaw went over to the other apprentice. She looked into his eyes.

"When I escaped from the Twolegs, I only intended on making sure that I'd never live my life as a kittypet. But now that I've experienced Shadowclan, I wish to join the clan. However, Bruntstar already refused my earlier offer." Bush confessed earnestly, every word making him sad.

Rosepaw nodded," Don't rush, take your time to heal, then may be if you train a bit, Burntstar will see that you're a worthy addition to the clan," Rosepaw flicked her tail to the tom's shoulder," Burntstar never said anything about never letting you have a second chance."

"Thanks Rosepaw, I needed that." Bush meowed, looking more happy, although he was still a little depressed.

Bramblefire got more emboldened, and padded up to the training hollow, watching Bruntstar and Lonerpaw spar.

Lonerpaw decided to try a move her mother taught her. She ducked for a few seconds, the jumped over Bruntstar, but instead of jumping over him, she missed the jump, and whisked right past him. One thing was noticeable about the move, it was of skyclan origin.

"You should go get some rest Bush," Rosepaw purred lightly rising to her paws," call me if your legs get sore or anything that makes you feel unconformable. You can always trust your medicine cats."

Bush nodded, and curled up in his nest. "Thanks." He meowed softly, then quickly found himself sleeping.

Burntstar dodged the move and smirked at the she-cat, feeling a rush of affection for the little she-cat. He then spotted a flash of claws from the brackens, and a black and white pelted cat rushed forwards. In a matter of seconds the mysterious shape had raked it's needle-sharp claws along Lonerpaw's flank. Burntstar reacted by bowling the smaller tom over, and the two wrestled about on the ground for a while before Nightleap got free and ran for it. Burntstar followed hard on his heels, rushing towards the Thunderpath.

On the way there they passed Lostleg and Owlscreech, and Lostleg hobbled after the group. Soon they arrived at the Thunderpath, and as they were about to cross it a monster came rushing into Nightleap and Burntstar's sides, bowling them over. Nightleap died instantly, being crushed by the monster's brutual black rolling legs, while Burntstar gasped for air, a searing pain spreading across his left side. Lostleg hobbled onto the Thunderpath, grabbed Burntstar's scruff and began pulling the larger tom aside, although he wasn't quick enough. A second car came rushing towards them, and soon both the toms were laying quite still on the ground, a single trail of blood trickling from the corner of their mouths as they disappeared from the living world.

((And that's my resignation from ShadowClan. TRIPLE KILL! WHOA!))

Lonerpaw let out a cry of pain, and collapsing to the ground, she watched the two cats tussle. She began feeling drowsy and her vision began to fade slightly. She noticed a cat padding up to him and noticed it was her adopted father.

"Lonerpaw...I'm so sorry." He mummered softly, sitting beside her for a bit. He began cleaning her wound, which surprisingly was not too badly injured, but given Lonerpaw's age and recent activity, such wounds where bound to cause dizzy spells.

"It...it's not your fault dad." She began, then feel asleep out of exhaustion.

Owlscreech was right behind her three clanmates and watched in horror as they died. "Nightleap... Burntstar... Lostleg." The she-cat whispered before wailing, ignoring the cars passing by. Suddenly stopping, the small she-cat turned her focus back onto the Thunderpath and checked for monsters, leaping back with a screech as a small one sped past her, narrowly missing her muzzle. Checking around to see if any other cat was around, the she-cat concluded that no one else was there for the moment. With quick steps, she ran over to the closest of the toms, slowly dragging him to the safety of their territory. 'Not that it matters. They all died.' the dark she-cat thought bitterly, her teeth bared in a silent snarl at the ground. As she stepped back onto the path, another monster roared by. In fear, Owlscreech stepped back, freezing for a moment before turning tail and running back to camp. "Nightleap! Lostleg! Burntstar!" She yowled, out of breath as she reached the camp enterence. "Chasing a rouge... Hit by several monsters... They are all dead. Dead!" Her shoulders and sides heaved, sadness crashing over her as the realization that one of the few cats that she could talk to, that could even begin t understood her, was killed right before her eyes. She dropped to the ground, one pale paw over her muzzle.
