Larkpaw looked around, there were so many cats. She tasted the air. She recognized the mixed scents of all four clans as she settle herself somewhere quiet where she would be able to see the leaders.

Shadowclan~

Darkcloud nodded in understanding. "Too much at once, huh?" She commented to Mothpaw. "Well, why don't you try and find some other apprentices to talk to?" She suggested and with a gentle push, she steered the apprentice toward another apprentice that she saw. (Larkpaw) She then glanced up as two toms and a She-cat approached her and Shadowdance. She dipped her head in greeting. "Hello." She replied politely.

Riverclan~

Mudsplash had decided to stay back and let Sandstreak and Basspaw handle it on their own. She glanced around, not sure what to do now.

Windclan~

Crowtalon glanced around boredly, detesting almost every cat that he saw.

Mushroomtail headed straight over to the Great Rock and bounced off her hind legs. She hopped up the large rock with ease. The young she-cat nodded to the others before turning to Sorrelstar, "Ehh- uh- I'll be filling in for Greystar sh-she is absent..." She spoke quietly and looked down at all the cats in the clearing, she felt stomach flies gnawing at her.

~Ravensong groomed her black paws as she waited for the gathering to begin. She glared at a tom, Crowtalon, who seemed to despise every cat he noticed. The obsidian she-cat rolled her eyes at him an flicked her tail.

Crowtalon caught the eye of a black she-cat as he was glancing around, and noticed her irritation. He smirked and looked away, dismissing her and slightly wondering how she would react.

~Ravensong let out a very slight, irresistible, hiss at Crowtalon and she shuffled her paws eagerly. The she-cat then stood up from her place and walked to the tom, her tail briefly lashed. "Excuse me, but you shouldn't be rude. Starclan wouldn't appreciate it." Ravensong meowed to him with a snobbish raised eyebrow. Not that she wanted to start a fight, but Ravensong's short temper seemed to be in motion.

Crowtalon slowly turned back to the she-cat and raised an eyebrow. "I haven't said a word since I arrived." He said disdainfully, his tail twitching.

~Ravensong perked her ears up with disbelief as she looked to the tom. "Well, that's quite a surprise! Since you were giving everyone those fox-hearted looks," Ravensong mewed and slowly turned around.

He snorted and lashed his tail, now fully annoyed. "Annoying she-cat... Definitely shadowclan bred..." He mumbled and then got up, fully intending to distance himself from her.

THUNDERCLAN

Sunflare smiled slightly as decided to settle down beside them looking up at the leaders. "Im Sunflare and this is my brother Batcry. We are from ThunderClan. What clan are you guys from?" His ears twitched in curiosity as he glanced sideways at the she cats. His brother looking uninterested, twitched his ears waiting for the response from ShadowDance and Darkcloud. Sunflare are Darkclouds large swollen belly " oh you look like you're about to have kits. How many are you expecting?" He asked trying to make sure there was a conversation going since his brother rarely talked unless it was about hunting or battling.

SHADOWCLAN

The cream colored she cat watch does all the cats gather together and decided intermingling. Dawnglow began to wonder ,as a kitty pet would, why they fight all the time and why are they separate. Her bushy tail flicks side to side as her ears twitch with the noise coming from everyone around her as well as the crickets chirping. She sighed as she began walking around aimlessly just getting a good look at each cat. In her mind she tried to guess what clan each were from.

Darkcloud flicked her ears. "Shadowclan." She replied curtly while glancing at Batcry with distaste, mostly because of his silence. She shook her head and then looked back at the other tom, pleased to be on a happier subject. "Briarmoth says two, at least." She replied, curling her tail against her belly.

Thunderclan~

Petalstep glanced around the group of cats, a bit unsure of where to go and unable to find a familiar face. "Mousedung...." She whispered to herself.

Shadowdance smiled at the two toms, flicking her tail in a friendly greeting. She glanced at Batcry and wondered why he was so quiet. She looked back at Darkcloud when the soon to be queen spoke of her kits that were bound to be born any day now. She purred happily and gave her friend a gentle nudge. "I can't wait to see how cute they're gonna be! I bet they'll be the best warriors when they get older!" Her tail curled in excitement.

~Ravensong gave Crowtalon one more sharp glare as she started to walk towards her clanmates. The dark she-cat smiled once she noticed Dawnglow out of the rest of her clanmates. "Hello Dawnglow, I didn't realized you had come, have you spoken to any of the others?" Ravensong asked with a slight tilt of her head.

Batcry blinked his eyes as Shadowdance gazed in his direction. He cleared his throat before gazing at the soon to be queen. "Uhmm..do you hope for daughters or sons...or one of each?" He asked a little awkwardly before he gazed at Shadowdance again. Sunflare blinked at his brother before he chuckled slightly giving his attention back to Darkcloud before he noticed Petalstep. "Petalstep! Over here!" He purred a his eyes went from just plain friendly to warm and gentle. His sunny eyes glowed in the night as he stood up waiting for Petalstep but his ears were still waiting for Darkclouds response to his brothers awkward intrusion.

~SHADOWCLAN~

Dawnglow gazed over at the she-cat that spoke to her. Her eyes brightened up as another clanmate was speaking to her. "Oh no I haven't really talk to anyone...Im not as welcomed as the others from our clan. Being a kittypet before a clan cat isnt exactly praised upon." She flicked her tail nervously before she thought of something to say. "Have you met anyone here yet?" She asked as her eyes slightly widened in interest.

Shadowdance noticed Batcry kept glancing at her and she felt heart raise to her ears. She looked down at her paws as he spoke, pretending to be very interested in a dry leaf by her paws. She couldn't place why she felt so embarrassed so she snuck another quick look at Batcry. She just wanted Darkcloud to say something so she could stop feeling this weird feeling in her chest.

Darkcloud gave a small, happy smile. "I'm hoping for one of each." She responded, the distaste for the other tom fading. She purred when Shadowdance spoke, and bumped her head against her fondly. "I know they will be. They're my kit's after all." She said proudly.

Thunderclan~
Petalstep's head whipped in the direction of the voice and she gave out a relieved sigh before padding over toward sunflare. "Thank starclan you called; I couldn't find anyone that I knew!" She exclaimed, her eyes twinkling in happiness. She dipped her head to the rest of the group before sitting down beside Sunflare.

Crowspirit turned to Sorrelstar and Mushroomtail. "Shall we start now?" he asked calmly. Looking over at the other cats, he was beginning to notice that they were becoming impatient.

Thunderclan

Pinefoot had stayed towards the middle of the clan as they'd traveled towards Fourtrees, trying to figure out how he would react when either Thunderclan or Riverclan authorities would undoubtedly announce the border skirmish. Obviously, staying calm was at the front of his mind. It wouldn't be hard, he thought, since the confrontation had taken most of his energy. Finally arriving at the island, the brown tabby shifted his shoulders and glanced around at all the cats gathered around. Spotting a few familiar faces, Pinefoot padded over towards Petalstep, Sunflare, and their group. He waved his tail in greeting, settling down beside the group. "Glad I could find you guys." He commented, smiling happily at his clanmates.

Rangepaw had bounded through the forest with unrelenting excitement. He was going to his first gathering! Granted, he knew no cats beyond those in his clan; and those he did know were only acquaintances at best. Nevertheless, the fiery apprentice was practically glowing with excitement. He'd crossed the makeshift bridge after Pinefoot, sticking close to the few warriors that were along for the gathering. He then made his way through the groups of cats, his head swerving this way and that to survey the other clans. The young tom trotted along the island at a brisk pace, eager to explore this new place. Suddenly, he strode right into the body of another cat, knocking himself to the chilled ground.

Riverclan

Because Pikepaw belonged to one of the first few clans to arrive at the island, he had quelled his curiosity well before any other cats conversed about the wonders of attending a gathering with him. Quickly having his fill of interaction for the time being, the broad-shouldered apprentice padded along close to the bushes surrounding the edge, the sound of water lapping against the island's shore calming him. It was then that he was knocked into by Rangepaw. "Hey, watch where you're going, mouse-brain!" He growled irritably.

"Sorry!" Rangepaw was quick to reply, scrambling up to his paws. After looking around at his surroundings, the apprentice found himself and the other tom well out of the way of any other cats. "What're you doing all the way out here? Is everything ok?" He asked curiously, embarrassment warming his ears.

Pikepaw narrowed his eyes, "Why would you care?" The older Riverclan apprentice obviously had adopted his clans dislike towards Thunderclan cats.

Rangepaw gave the other a quizzically hurt look. "Isn't that the nice thing to do when you bump into someone? Geeze, don't get your tail in a knot. I was just being polite." He pointed out, brows furrowing together.

Shifting his weight as Rangepaw's words sunk in, Pikepaw let his expression soften. He hadn't meant to be so hard on the Thunderclan tom; he was just not in a very good mood. "Sorry, I've had a rough day." He explained with a sigh, sitting down and settling his tail around his paws.

Rangepaw followed the other toms example, and the two sat conversing in small, quiet tones about anything and everything that came to mind. The thunderclan apprentice took great joy in regaling Pikepaw with his hilarious, if a bit inappropriate adventures he'd had since his apprenticeship had started. Pikepaw did likewise, if a bit more reserved about his tales. The Riverclan apprentice decided that maybe not all Thunderclan cats were idiots after all.

Windclan

Oceanpaw had stuck close to Fawntail through the trek to Fourtrees, having found he quite enjoyed the medicine cats company. Soon after they arrived at the gathering, though, Fawntail left. Presumably in search of the other medicine cats, the apprentice reasoned. For some reason, he felt the desire to plod after her; to meet the other cats dedicated to helping their clan, and to learn of their stories. It was a bit daunting to the apprentice; he was supposed to be focusing on his warrior training, why would be concern himself with the medicine cats? It wasn't as if he had any special talent that would make him a choice to become Fawntails apprentice; he wasn't good at memorization, nor did he think he had a good stomach for sights of gore. Nonetheless, the snowy apprentice felt a tug in his heart towards their cause and way of life.

Robintail had lingered near the back of the Windclan party, happy to stretch his legs on a trek to Fourtrees. It wasn't often that the warrior was able to attend gatherings, what with the camp needing to be protected at whatnot. Still, it was a small sort of accomplishment to be allowed to join the festivities. Keeping to himself when he got to the island, the warrior stood, contenting himself with watching the various cats for now. Every so often, one would catch his eye and his gaze would linger on them. At the moment, it was Downglow's lovely frame that had caught his eye.

Petalstep turned her head and smiled gently at Pinefoot's arrival. "It's pretty hard to find familiar faces here, huh?" She meowed, trying to start a conversation.

Mushroomtail watched as the cats below mingled and became restless. Her attention swerved to Crowspirit and she nodded vigorously. "Y-yeah."

Batcry let out a small very faint purr at Darkclouds answer surprising his brother Sunflare who gazed at him questioningly before the brother turned his gaze to Petalstep. He lightly licked the she-cats ear. "I'm glad you found us too." He grinned as he looked into the she-cats eyes. Sunflare noticed a presence and looked up at Pinefoot. "Oh Pinefoot welcome to our group." He chuckled at how big his group had gotten. Batcry lifted himself to his paws before he guided himself next to Shadowdance he leaned down looking at the leaf closely. "Very interesting leaf you've got there." His expression hadn't really changed but his eyes held a glint of amusement and his eyes brows rose in curiousity of the she-cat.

~SHADOWCLAN~

Dawnglow turned her nimble frame around as she noticed the leaders getting ready for the meeting. Her beautiful cream colored pelt stuck out against the other Shadowclan cats. Her ears were sort of bent backwards showing her obvious nervousness at the gathering. She'd always felt nervous with the Shadowclan cats but more so with all of these new faces and smells. Her eyes darted around looking at the other cats settle down before her eyes fell on a certain tom who seemed to be eyeing her. She blinked and tilted her head, her slanted eyes gazed at him through the night air curiously. Her tail flicked a slight nervous greeting at him before embarrassment ran through her like a torrent. Her ears burned and she had to flick them a few times. Not sure what she should do she cleared her throat and sat down. The tom was welcome to join her side if he was so curious but she was way to nervous to walk over to him.

Shadowdance felt her ears burning. "Oh definitely. Its um," She stepped on and it crackled. "really crunchy." She swatted it away quickly and looked up at him. "So. What's your name then?" She asked, curiosity lining her words as she tried not to act like a mouse-brain.

He let out a short snort of amusement at the she-cats response to her leaf. He flicked his tail lightly around his paws before gazing at her with his green orbs. "My name is Batcry. Odd name for a Thunderclan cat don't you agree?" He shrugged as he looked at the leaders. "What about you?" He asked casting a sidewards glance at her.

Shadowdance shrugged and smiled at him slightly. "No not really. I mean, I like it." She started tripping over her words a bit when she noticed his eyes. They were so vividly green. She realized she was probably staring so she look away quickly, wanting to just bury herself in all the fallen leaves on the ground and never come out again. "I'm Shadowdance." She said with a snort. "Speaking of names, isn't mine sooo original. Naming a kit after it's clan and all." She shook her head chuckling.

Mothpaw shot Darkcloud a slight look of irritation as she nudged her towards Larkpaw. Getting rid of the apprentice just to talk to some warriors! she thought with irritation. Nonetheless, Mothpaw continued towards Larkpaw. She came to a sudden halt directly infront of her, remembering she was not here to make friends. She froze, her whole body tense and her eyes wide as she stared at Larkpaw. To anyone else, she would have appeared petrified.
