So if I have a kit, and the moon calender here goes in real life time, then do I have to wait 6 real life months before my kit becomes an apprentice? Can I speed it up for roleplayings sake?

No, usually the staff here try to push for days and nights to happen to help users age their cats. All of the clan topics are on different timezones right now but gatherings and medicine cat meetings usually gets the times back on track for a little bit.
If your cat is 5 moons old, we recommend to wait at least for 2 nights in the roleplay to pass.
