"All of my eyes are open." Whitedapple joked, her ears holding up vole eyes. She nodded her head at Redroot, hoping he noticed her joke.

Woodfeather listened intently as Owlstar relayed the days plans and her suspicions about Redroot and Whitedapple. He let out a chuckle at the latter. He enjoyed conversing with Owlstar. She was very intelligent, and wasn't so bad to look at, if he did say so himself. Woodfeather nodded as she asked him if he was ready. He was about to go collect Whitedapple from Redroot when the she-cat turned towards them and questioned them about their amusement, then pad to the entrance. Well, that made getting her together for the patrol easier.

"Slower than a snail?" Woodfeather exclaimed in mock surprise, feigning a hurt look. "I hope that wasn't a jest at my age." He retorted, smiling to himself as he heaved himself down at the sandy floor of the clearing. Dust settled about his paws as he landed and headed towards the entrance behind Owlstar. He rolled his eyes at Whitedapple's comments, but he knew they were good-natured.

The deputy watched as Whitedapple bounded off and returned with a mouse, hearing her gift it to Owlstar. His gaze drifted up to the treetops, their pelts becoming dappled with sunlight as a light breeze drifted through the leaves above. With a purr rumbling through his chest he then looked around their surroundings, wondering if they'd even find another cat to join their clan.

Once the small patrol had gone, Redroot shot a curious gaze towards the apprentice den. His apprentice was still, he assumed, sleeping. It seemed to be her favorite pastime. Left at camp with not much to do, the warrior twitched his whiskers boredly.

Once finished the leader looked at her warrior and deputy with a smile. "Alright lets head toward the center of our territory all the way to the other side of our territory." Owlstar mewed before she flicked her tail gently at her Deputy's ears when he finally arrived at her side. She gave him a warm look, one that was only for him, before she looked at Whitedapple. "Whitedapple you may lead this patrol." Owlstar then began to look around a small purr erupted in the leaders throat when she saw how beautiful DayClans territory was. She then began to sniff for any off scents, fresh or stale. She wanted to know who lived among this forest. Owlstar was hoping if they couldn't attract more members, that this beautiful territory would.

Whitedapple sniffed around, until she scented an unfamiliar fresh cat scent. "Owlstar, can you smell that?" she mewed as she glicked her tail towards the strong scent.

Owlstar's ears twitched as the Warrior snapped her out of her daydreaming. She lifted her nose and sniffed, her pink nose wrinkling and moving side to side with each sniff. The leader gazed around through the under brush and tilted her head wondering who or what is in their territory. "Lets make sure there aren't any badgers or anything that could be dangerous. Then we will focus on the possibility its another cat.." The leaders voice was less friendly as she gave out the order but it meant she was being serious as a leader should be during these times.

[ooc; Dewpaw has been added, I was hesitant though because we don't have a medicine cat directly but who knows maybe he can be just a really intelligent cat and quickly learn things and become the youngest medicine cat known. Maybe that's his destiny as a medicine cat.]

Whitedapple nodded her head in agreement. "Okay, but wouldn't badgers be attacking us or would be reeking way more?" she started following the scent, padding forward slowly.

A young white she-cat was roaming the beautiful territory when she spotted the three adult cats. She sucked in a breath and hid behind some bushes, her white fluffy tail peeked out under the bushes. 

Owlstar smiled over at her warrior. "Well most likely but you can never be too careful." She said as she sniffed the airs. "I smell another cat." She flicked her ears as she gazed around.

Whitedapple noticed a small tuft of white fur sticking out form behind a bush. She blinked before realizing it was a cat's, and she whispered to Owlstar, "I believe that is a cat." Whitedapple pointed to the white cat's fluffy tail.

"Oh dear, it has such a tiny tail." She chuckled before padding over to the bush. "Little one would you like to come out?" She asked flicking her tail gently back and forth. She heard the kit suck in a breath and then the limbs of the bush began to shake. "Now, now let's not be scared. We won't hurt you." She said gently before she looked under the bush. The kit looked at the adult cat before she pouted, scurrying out she sat in front of the group. 

The kit looked at Whitedapple and tilted her head. She padded over to her stumbling a little bit. "You look like my mom..." She frowned.

Owlstar looked at the kit, "Where is your mom?" She asked. The kit began to cry and the leader frowned. "I don't think she likes me."

(You may start roleplaying I'm making a female warrior about their age so they would be like trying to talk to her ? )

Cinderstorm sat in a shadowy corner of camp, glaring at anyone who came close. He wasn't angry, this was really just the default setting for his expression when it came to interacting with others.

Oaklight padded up to his brother, a slender fish in his jaws. Cinderstorm raised a brow at him. "That's barely big enough for just you. Let alone the both of us." Oaklight twitched his whiskers in amusement as he set the fish down in front of the smoky tom, laying beside him. "So you don't want any then?" Cinderstorm rolled his eyes, fighting back a smile. "Shut up." Cinderstorm takes a large mouthful of fish and chews contently.
The brothers continue to share their meal, talking jokingly with each other.

A growl came from the camps entrance as a ginger she-cat tugged through the brambles. "We really need to make this thing higher..." She grumbled through her water vole, looking at her fur that had come out tangled in the brambles. Sighing she padded into camp. She spotted Cinderstorm and his brother eating a fish. A chuckle escaped her maw when she saw how tiny it was. Shrugging, she padded over toward the eating area sitting a few paces away from them. She sat down her vole and proceeded to flatten her fur which was messed up by the bramble entrance. Her sky colored eyes then darted over to the toms. "How are you liking that fish?" She sneered jokingly as she took a bite of her meal.

Cinderstorm's ears flattened to his head and he bristled, opening his mouth to give a sharp retort. His brother's choice in prey was none of her business.

However Oaklight beat him to it. "It's good thanks. How about your vole?" He asked politely, even smiling. He cast a sharp glance at his brother who was staring daggers at the she-cat with his pale green eyes. Oaklight was not in the mood for unnecessary squabbles.

Honeyfrost then smiled at Oaklight, "It's quite good actually. Hey we should go on a hunting patrol before Owlstar returns from the patrol. It'd be nice to have prey starting to pile up in the camp." She then leaned down and took another bite. Her sky colored eyes looked sideways at Cinderstorm with a slight glare while his brother wasn't looking. She didn't like him already.

Cinderstorm's eyes widened at her glare and his fur fluffed up in bafflement and annoyance. He fought the urge to unsheathe his claws and his lip curled to reveal his fangs.

Oaklight missed Honeyfrost glaring at Cinderstorm as he bowed his head to take a bite of prey. He felt his brother shift and looked up to see the smoky cats threatening scowl. He swallowed his prey and gave his brother a confused look before smiling at Honeyfrost. "Great idea! We'd love to wouldn't we Cinderstorm?" Oaklight said pointedly, nudging his brother.

Cinderstorm's eyes narrowed and his tail twitched as he tried to keep it from lashing. "Oh I'd just be delighted." He grumbled sarcastically.

Oaklight gave a defeated sigh and smiled apologetically at Honeyfrost. "We really would love to. Don't mind him, I think he's got a fur ball stuck somewhere." Cinderstorm gave him an incredulous look.

Whitedapple looked at the kit that was crying. She smiled at it and rubbed its head with her own. "Shh, shh." she soothed the kit
