Name- Mosspaw

Color/Description- Mosspaw is a dark brown tabby with black stripes. Her fur seems to be constantly messy and several whiskers have been bent, giving her a lazy, sleepy look. Despite the look, this apprentice is quite quick. Her hind legs are a bit stronger then her clanmates around her age thanks to her maternal grandmother coming from Windclan. Her left hind leg is covered in scars from an accident during her kithood, though her thick fur covers most of it.

Personality- Mosspaw is very adventurous and curious, often acting before thinking which often has landed her in the medicine cat den, even though she has been an apprentice for almost a moon. She seems to never learn, but when she actually focuses, she can prove that she does learn most things. Still, she never stays focused for long, often bounding off to create mischief. She tends to be a bit feisty and stubborn, not backing down even when she knows that she is wrong.

Family/History- Mosspaw was born to Greywhisker and Shadeclaw, who was the half-brother of Darkshine, Owlscreech’s mother. Her mother died from kitting and Mosspaw (or Mosskit at the time) managed to be the only survivor of her litter which had two weak kits that died within the first week. The young she-cat didn’t seem to mind when she was given to another queen and had taken to calling her mother, though at the back of her mind she knew that the two were not related at all. When she was three moons, she snuck out when she heard that her father was in trouble and ended up wandering into a small field where a dog was running around. As if to play, the dog had tossed her around, mainly by her leg (giving her the scars) before finally leaving the kit alone, disinterested in her. A patrol found her awhile later that same day and was scolded and comforted by her adoptive mother before finding out that Shadeclaw had died. She was quite distraught, but not as much as another would have been. She believed that the tom hadn’t cared for her, while actually, he watched more from a distance, believing he was not cut out for the role as her father. The rest of her life was relatively normal. Her bond with Owlscreech isn’t all that big. They talk every once in a while but while they may share their looks, the two have far different, but similar perspectives.
