She always watched to old Medicine cat work with the sick and injured. Mintseed hopes to be the best medicine cat out of all the clans. Mintseed cried for moons knowing that there was nothing that she could do.Her mother, Goldenleaf, went out to hunt but she never came back. The next day every cat, that could, went out to look for her. They never found her and cat were began to think that she ran away because of the death of her son or that she ran away with her mate, Mintseeds father. No one know how he was.Mintseed never know how her father was. Her mother never told her or her brother. Other cats said that her was a kittypet or a cat from a different clan. Mintseed never thought of looking for him knowing that it would be a wast of time.
