Once you have an idea of what you want, you can go right ahead and start making your shop! When creating your Shop, the title of the topic should be based off what your shop type is. So if its a Graphic shop, it should have the word Graphic somewhere.
The Topic itselfAfter you have settled with a topic title, the next big thing you should be concerned with it the topic info. Users are attracted to visually appealing shops if you are running an art/graphic shop or if its a word based shop (Such as the Writing shops) colorful text would be the next big thing.
Providing ExamplesUsers like examples, and what better thing to keep people interested in reading your topic, is providing said examples. If customers enjoy your style, they are more likely to purchase something from you. Don't show something that you made 5 years ago, try posting a recent example.
Your Shop RulesEverybody Rules, and your topic is going to need some! It can be as simple as follow the site rules, or you can add your own custom rules. The most common rule I have seen on other shops is "Do not order when the shop is closed."
Most shop have a banned users section, meaning if you are on that list; they will not be taking any order forms from you.
Pricing! Everyone's favorite thing to do is set a prices! If you are trying to sell something
long and or complex, try and set the price in the 1,000+ Clawshard Range. If its something
Short and or Simple/Easy, try to set the price in the 100-1,000 Clawshard Range.
Adding the Final touchUsers will more often than not, add order forms for users to order from to help them determine what the customer wants to buy. Along with a Wait list, to show where their customers are in the line-up.
Order forms will look something like this:
- Code:
-
Username:
Type of Order:
Reference Image/Description:
Other?:
Users will add or leave out some of the options depending on what they are selling, but it's pretty much the same idea!
