Rainflower is such a JERK!! :c It's so sad what Stormkit goes through, and his own mother isn't there for him. She won't even look at him.

I disagree. In the actually world when a mothers child has a defect, they leave them to die, eat them, kill them, etc. This applies for animals though. So I don't think Rainflower is bad.

Yes... The book is quiet a a fantasy... I could find arguements for both sides so I am inbetween. I think she acted unfairly yet I think she acted instincfully. But for the books point of view, it is cruel but in real lifes point of view, it is what nature does...

At least she is softening up slightly. I'm almost half way through the book. x3
