PLOT: Dragons have lived in peace for as long as anyone can remember. They hunted and shared land without anyone to disrupt the calm life they've had. But now a dark dragon is attempting to conquer all of the dragons and bloody battles have broken out recently. Only a few small groups of dragons have come together to try to defeat the dark dragons but the odds are against them. Everyone knows a great war is coming but can they win it? Who's side will you take and can you defeat the enemy?

Dragon species:
Species name: Snow dragon
Habitat: Snow dragons live mostly in cold climates. They prefer high altitudes and the majority of them live far North or South. They can also be found on mountains or in forested areas.
Appearance: Snow dragons are covered in fur and feathers. They have thick fur around their neck and heads and most have a sort of mane that runs down their backs. The snow dragon's claws are slightly jagged to grip slippery ice or rock. The fur and feathers of snow dragons are usually a light color to help blend in with snow or ice. Most have blue or silver eyes that can easily adjust to bright or dark light.
Height: They stand around 6 to 8 ft at the shoulder.
Top speed: (running/flight) Running speed- 75 mph. Flying speed- 600 to 700 mph.
Diet: Consists mostly of meat although they also eat nuts, fruit (if they can find any), a wide range of vegetables, and even bark when other food is scarce.
Behavior: Snow dragons claim a territory that is sometimes shared by two or three others at a time, rarely will a large number of dragons share a territory. When there is a large group of snow dragons they are usually ruled by a dominate pair. Snow dragons are curious creatures that have an interest in art and music. They are social and use scent marks to communicate when traveling. Young males looking for territory will attack or challenge other Snows for territory and stay aggressive for the first few months of claiming it; afterwards they allow other dragons to share their territory. Females are strangely sensitive to the colors red and yellow. Almost all Snows love water and are excellent fliers.
Species name: Sun dragon
Habitat: Suns prefer mild climates and forested areas but can also be found around mountains with their close cousins the Snow dragons.
Appearance: Sun dragons are slightly smaller than Snows but are more heavily built. Their claws are shorter as well as their tails and horns. Like Snows they have light colored fur and feathers but have other colors mixed, like a calico cat. Sun's eyes are usually green, brown, or blue.
Height: Around 4 to 5 ft at the shoulder.
Top speed: (running/flight) Running speed- 75 to 80 mph. Flying speed- 650 to 750 mph.
Diet: Mostly the same as Snows but hunt mostly small game such as squirrels or birds, although they do also hunt deer and catch fish.
Behavior: Unlike Snow dragons, Sun dragons move from one area to another almost every year. Males are not aggressive since they don't stay in one area long. Sun's are energetic and love to play; they are fast and have a good sense of smell.
Species name: Oceanic dragon
Habitat: Lives in oceans.
Appearance: Thick snout and tail; has hooked claws for catching fish. Usually a deep blue or grey color; they have webbed feet and fin-like ridges along their backs and necks. Oceanic dragons do not have wings. (they look similar to the Wings of Fire
Seawings)
Height: They stand around 5 to 6 ft at the shoulder.
Top speed: (running/swimming) Running speed- 55 to 60 mph. Swimming- 100 to 200 mph.
Diet: Oceanic dragons eat mostly fish and other marine animals including sharks. Sometime they eat sea birds.
Behavior: They are powerful swimmers and are not very social. They can hold their breath for up to 4 hours and usually only come to the surface of the water to breathe or catch birds. They come onto land to lay eggs which are the color of sand and number 3 to 7 in a clutch.
Species name: Dark dragon
Habitat: All regions
Appearance: Broad shoulders, short heavy tails. Usually a dark grey, black, or brown color.
Height: 6 to 8 ft at the shoulder
Top speed: (running/flight) Running speed- 75 mph. Flying speed- 600 to 700 mph.
Diet: Small and medium sized mammals such as goats, deer, rabbits ect. and fish.
Behavior: Usually hostile to most dragons, strong fighters. Are loyal to those who are superior. They live in groups of two or three but on occasions can be in groups of up to 14.

Extra info:
Instead of all dragons breathing fire they can do similar things with different elements. There are 6 elements: Flame, Stone, Water, Sky, Metal, and Life. Each have special abilities that can be controlled by dragons.
Flame allows dragons to breathe fire and makes them resistant to most heat, their saliva is slightly acidic and burns the skin of whatever they bite.
Stone gives dragons the ability to blend in almost perfectly with any earth or stone surface, they have natural shield-like skin that protects them, and its a bad idea to have a headbutting fight with them because their horns and claws are reinforced.
Water element dragons can spit burning water at their opponents and they can hold their breath for up to an hour longer than usual. Being in water heals small wounds.
Sky dragons are excellent fliers and can create thick clouds of steam or fog. They are fast and agile and also have acidic saliva.
Metal element dragons have almost steel-like skin and are strong. Their teeth and claws are serrated.
Life gives dragons the ability to heal others quickly but cannot completely heal a deadly wound. They are intelligent and have extraordinary senses but little defense. (the only defense besides teeth and claws are what comes with the other element.)
There can be mixed species of dragons such as a mix of a snow and a sun dragon.
