"hunt" she said happily

Pushing her way into the medicine den Cherrypaw glanced around. "Fernshade? Are you there?" she asked into the darkness of the den, struggling to make her eyes get used to the darkness now that she had been outside in the light. She sneezed again, her throat itching as if a spider had crawled down it and was thickling her with it's hairs. It felt terrible as she opened her mouth to call out for Fernshade again.

Pebblesplash grabbed her fish and back to camp.

Shellclaw yawned, his pads hurt a little as he stretched. He padded out of the warriors den, and into the clearing. He glanced around, narrowing his eyes and yawning again.

Fernshade appeared from the shadowy den, stifling a yawn. "Yes Cherrypaw?" She mewed, padding up to the apprentice. She tilted her head and blinked amber eyes.

Lillymoon sighed and looked around, she noticed Equinoxpaw and mewed to the young tom. "Come, we are going hunting with Russetpaw and Wolfpelt" She said, flicking her tail tip and staring at her apprentice.

Wolfpelt flicked his ears and trotted up to Russetpaw as she appeared from the apprentice den. He nodded to her and mewed "Come along, we are going hunting with Equinoxpaw and Lillymoon"

Russetpaw nodded, flicking her ears. "Ok!" She said, bouncing around her mentor. She grinned and nodded to Equinoxpaw.

Sneezing she spotted Fernshade and shrugged. "I think I caught a cold... Fell into the river when I hunted earlier on." she muttered, not liking the fact that she had to admit it in front to the medicine cat. Yet, no other cat knew that she had snuck there by herself. Instead she watched Fernshade for a while. "Do you happen to have anything for that?" she asked, flickering her tail softly from side to side.

Fernshade flicked her tail tip over the apprentices ear and nodded "Hold on 1 minute" She mewed and squeezed into her store room. She grabbed Lavender, Feverfew, and Oak Leaf. She padded back and sat down, her ears pricked slightly. She crushed the three herbs into a poultice and mewed "Eat that and I will be right back with honey for you." She padded back and grabbed a honeycomb and came back.

Cherrypaw blinked, surprised at how quickly Fernshade had managed to pick out the right herbs. She nodded her thanks, and bent down. Ignoring the taste of it she swallowed it down, turning around and looking at Fernshade who had appeared with a honeycomb. Smiling she remembered the time when she had been sick as a kit, and she had recieved honey to make her stop squealing. The memories made her rather bitter though. But she still loved honey, once she had pushed her memories out of her head.

Fernshade set down the honey and dribbled some on a sweet leaf, and smiled, her eyes happy and she watched the apprentice, and with a purr remembered giving her honey as a kit, and she flicked her tail tip across her ears "Be careful now, and no more falling into rivers, and if it gets worse, come back" She purred, sitting down.

Cheeypaw grinned and lapped up the honey, the sweet taste making her purr comfortably. Her throat felt clearer at once, though only the taste of the amazing honey was enough to make her feel better. "Thanks Fernshade! I will make sure to bring another cat next time." she said with a foolish grin as she disappeared out from the medicine den and making her way back to the apprentice den. There she realised that Equinoxpaw was still fast asleep, clearly not even noticing she had left. Her whiskers twitching with amusement she laid down in his nest, seeing as there wasn't enough room in her own. She didn't fall asleep just yet though, but kept cleaning her jaw for the remains of the honey.

Seeing that Equinoxpaw had just left for a patrol and left her den open again she crawled back into her own nest, curling up there. The warmth that Equinoxpaw had left behind comforted her and she purred softly as she curled up. She would relax a while longer, then she would go search for Pebblestream and ask if they could train. She wouldn't let a small slip into the river stop her from training into a warrior.

Pebblesplash licked her pelt. Why did she feel so....fat all of a sudden!? She had had a little extra fresh kill though. She assumed it was nothing.

Lillymoon padded out of the camp, Equinoxpaw at her heels, Wolfpelt and Russetpaw following. They headed towards the river and gathered around her. "Lets practice our fishing, Equinoxpaw, your first" She mewed.

Wolfpelt sat down, curling his tail across his paws as Russetpaw bounced beside him, eager to hunt for the fat trout that lived in the river. He flicked a tail tip over her ears "Quiet" he whispered, and watched his sister and her apprentice.

Russetpaw bounced around, but as her mentor's tail flicked over her, she hushed and bundled down, watching and waiting.

Lillymoon purred "Good Try, you have time to practice before your assessment, use it" She mewed and flicked her tail tip, "Your turn Russetpaw" She said, flicking her ears.

Russetpaw let out a mew and dipped her head respectively and laid down on the cool grass by the river. Her shadow behind her, and her eyes fixed on the water, she saw a fish shadow, and flashed out a quick paw and a trout flashed silver as she hooked it, and tossed onto the bank.

Wolfpelt nodded to his apprentice and mewed "Its ok Equinoxpaw" He flicked his tail, then stiffened, scenting a thunderclan cat, he lashed his tail slightly.

Restlessly Cherrypaw walked up and down within the apprentice den, her tail lashing and her ears pinned against her head. It was rather obvious she wanted to go out and train, or try to hunt again. Sighing she walked out of the den, though she could not make out the shape of her mentor. Shrugging she coughed a few more times, but eventually she decided that the cold wasn't that bad. After all, she wouldn't die if she walked a little trip? Deciding it was exactly what she needed she let out a purr and trotted softly over to the entrance.

She felt much lighter once outside, and instead of having her focus on her illness she became aware of the scent of prey around her, at least faint traces. Smiling she walked a little round in the area, though the scent of vole nearby distracted her. Forgetting about the fact that she should be calm and not get worse, she got into a stalking position and crawled forwards. She could see it, whiskers away from her face. She was just about to pounce when a loud barking noise made it stir. Frustrated she pounced, only to find the vole slip away from her paws. "Mousedung!" she muttered and looked around, her senses now concentrating on where the sound came from. Looking over to where the twoleg farm was located she saw a dog, and she frowned slightly at how close it was to their territory. Not wanting to attract attention she silently crept away from view.

Pebblesplash padded outside,and looked around.

Duskspirit padded out of the warriors' den. Most of the cats were up by now, and she was too. But, she had been up late last night. Duskspirit streched in the middle of the clearing. She glanced around, hoping to find someone to share prey with. She flicked her small bob-tail.

Cherrypaw breathed out with relief, seeing that the dog had not heard nor seen her. Smiling she headed for the place where she assumed the other cats was training, and soon the cats appeared in sight. "Hello Lilymoon, Russetpaw, Equinoxpaw and Wolfpelt. Is the training going well?" she asked, then turned her attention to Wolfpelt and Lilymoon. "I think you better be careful, there's a dog loose by the twoleg farm." she said softly and shrugged, imagining her clanmates being torn apart by the jaws of a dog. She knew that the dog might be friendly to cats as well, though chances where that they absolutely wasn't. She let her gaze flicker over the two apprentices and then over the two warriors, her gaze landing on Lilymoon in the end.

Pebblestream rose from his nest with a yawn. It was time to get some training done with Cherrypaw. He padded out of the warriors den and looked around for her, his whiskers twitching.

((Cherrypaw isn't in camp though, so if Pebblestream is searching for her he have to go out of camp x3))
