Mouse quickly jumped on a fence nearby, nearly getting her tail bit off by a small shi-tzu that was chasing her. Now that it could not reach her, the dog continued to bark and howl, only stopping to yip and run away when it was attacked by a red blur.
"Mouse, what did I tell you about going down that way?" Snake said, jumping up and taking a seat next to her youngest kit.
"Not to." the small kit grumbled.
"Let's go, I don't reconize the scent of the cat here. Better safe then sorry." she easily picked up the patched she-kit and jumped down, walking back to their home, a hole underneath a house where a kind old lady lives.
Mouse sighed, her thin tail fell limp, though due to her mother's long legs, it did not drag on the ground
