My previous fursona as well as my current character. Felt like drawing her simply to get a bit freetime from drawing cats :3 Still don't get why there's pixelations around the edges though, it looks just fine on CS... -_-' Drawing I did for a friend of mine. The left is my own fursona, the right is hers. She recently made herself a new fursona, and for the event I made a piece of art for her :3 Again... Thanks, though I wish it was better ^^; I haven't got time to study anatomy yet, so I have to go after my own head. Not good, in most cases. I've wasted so much time on useless sketches, and it could have been prevented if I could draw good anatomy at once -_-'
Highlights isn't too hard, most oftenly... Though I change my style every now and then and it's really visible on my art. I can have really anime looking art one time, and the next drawing might be more realistic. Nevermind, I simply have to find a style that fits me :3

Practice, practice, practice!!
I've been drawing all my life, and I still feel lesser than everyone else when it comes to art. I have a picture in my mind but I can never manage to draw it out.
I also think it's the same with me. Sometimes I draw derpish things, next they look oddly realistic. My traditional art expresses my style more, I think. I might start scanning things.
I also can only draw wolves, which really caught my eye on your drawings. You should open up a shop. ;-; Your drawings are perfectly suited for this thing called Chatlands that I hang around... You ever heard of it? It's a 2D Graphical Chat Engine. Seems like you might, considering the transparency in your drawings. But I dunno.
I'd absolutely adore a drawing from you of one of my characters, but you know, it's all up to you if you want to or not. Like I said, practice, practice, practice. And, if you like someone's art, compare yours to it and see what you could do to improve your own style.

Agreed, I sometimes dream that I draw this fantastic piece... But it never works out when I try to draw it! Frustrating T.T I started drawing digitally a few years ago, but I still can't master the tablet, nor photoshop.
Whenever I try to draw really anime looking things though, it looks horrible none the matter. I've tried realistic, same result. Therefore I'm somewhere in the middle... Probably doomed to never get better.
I enjoy traditional, because I have more control over my hand and where the streaks turn and curve, which I don't always have when drawing digitally.
Canines is what I started out with. Followed with felines, though now I never manage to draw anything other than canines, mostly...
Hrm, no I don't think so... I don't really draw for a lot of sites, and I'm not online at a ton of sites either. A couple, though less than I used to be at. Transparency is something I learned from my dad, because I had seen so many transparent drawings around... Though it seems like I still haven't got it completly right, judging by the edges that is often left behind and so on...
I would if I had time, but I'm working on so much lately I barely have time to get on. At night is the only time I have for it, though I'm afraid I have way too much homework right now, and it won't loosen up the next few weeks... If I do get time though, I would consider drawing a free piece of art for everyone on this site though x3 Perhaps around easter, when I'm free from school for a while...

Sounds good! Don't give up mastering the tablet. It's really fun right? At least you enjoy it. ^_^ The point is to draw because you enjoy it, not because of how good it looks. I used to be like this:

Me: *complains* Ughhh nobody's commenting on my art work! D:
Friend: I'm sure they will some day.
Me: *next day* UGH STILL NOBODY *rageface*
Brother: Hey, hey, it's fine. Some day.
Me: *next week* ....I suddenly lose the urge to draw.
Me: *four months later* OMG AWESOME IDEA *draws it*
Me: Hmmmph. It's not as good as I expected it to be... *posts*
Person: OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME FJDNCJFHF.
Me: ...Wot...
Person: I see so much improvement!
Me: *thinks* OMG AWESOME SDFG.

So like, I guess I took a break from drawing and I got better....? It's confusing, but yeah. xD Also, it helps to have an epic brother to watch draw as well. :3 I learned anthropomorphic wolf anatomy from his drawings of humans. Not that I draw them that often... But still!

And ooh, that Easter plan sounds interesting. ^_^ But, no pressure, because like I said before, it's your decision.

Yeah, I mostly draw because of the fun of it :3 In between orders and other things I usually draw my own characters, though it's been a while since I had that opportunity... Unfortunatly.
I do get a little disappointed when no one comments... The whole fun of it is to have at least one comment, I believe.

Heh, same happened with me as well x3 Took a major break of drawing, ended up having more sense of anatomy than earlier.

Lucky to have family to draw, then you can help each other :3 I have no one, really... My mother draws a little, though she doesn't want to learn me. I have a cousine though, who draw human portraits :3 Fantastically good and painting ^.^
I've had frustration moments... Though I haven't given up :3 I really want to become good at it.

Easter is one of the times of year I have less things to do, so I bet I will have time to at least make a lineart or something that can be colored in. Whether I do it myself or not, I will have to see... If there's over 100 members by then, I doubt I will draw a custom for each ^^;

Thanks to both ^.^ I wish I was better, none the less... I give myself critique, and after seeing the images more than a couple of times I note the wrongs about the anatomy, shading etc. so I think it's natural for e to doubt myself ;3 My cousine however says her art doesn't look good at all. I say it' a ton beter than mine, and by the fact that she used a laptop mouse the amazingness about it rises even more! We sort of compare to each other, and we end up being angered with our own art skills... Bah.

There won't be any new art for a while, maybe not before easter... Working on a secret project >:3

Got a suiting character from my friend and decided to draw it :3 I'm still annoyed that every time I post my art here in transparent, the edges looks so rough... Considering to let this become a lineart for everyone on WL to use Any chance you would want to use it? Please give me your opinions! I'm also working on a second lineart, though it will be a limited lineart that will be out for easter, as promised :3 I will probably be putting it up around the end of February.

For now, I would like some comments on whether you want this as a lineart or not. Creating a thread on the art board as well for everyone to suggest linearts/stamps/images in general for the artists to make.
